anyone know the max latitude the dss signal will reach north? bud moving to baffin island canada

You should be ok but might need a larger dish. Go here (http://www.lyngsat.com/tracker/dtv1.shtml) and click on your map location to get az/el.

I know in Edmonton you can get most of the channels on a 1 meter dish and all of them on a 1.8 meter. If your friend can get DTV up there he is going to need one hell of a big dish. Good Luck!

I passed it on to him, I think he will have time to play with it. Not much else to do there but chase polar bears :)
big dish, the old c bands are no good for this are they??

find a old primestar 2 meter dish
