Yesterday, Wednesday, was my son's 6th birthday. Now, he is home schooled and my wife and I have been on the hunt for a globe. Every store we went to was sold out. At his birthday party, he opened the biggest box of presents and it was a globe. My brother and his wife got it for him (I might add that we did not tell anyone we were looking for a globe). Anyway, we were all sitting there (20 + adults) and my brother lights up, out of the blue, and says that he tried to rub Afghanistan off of the globe to keep it updated for 2002. LOL
It brought the house down. OK, so its not THAT funny. Its one of those 'you should have been there kind of things' but it came at the right time and was a needed tension breaker.
