The 590s

Hey guys,

I'm finally up but have a general question regarding the "educational" 590 channels. Since when did the FCC allow explicit programming like that to air? I mean we're talking about everything up to completion and even showing that from different angles, slow motion, with full graphic detail. Did they lift some sort of decency law on satellite programming? Does cable show the same?

its a pay per view channel/s....and i believe you DONT get a 5 min preview like you do with reg ppv purchases...so basically its not public you have to make the choice to view..also this type of viewing has been available in hotels for quite some time....we cant really question the morality of thier decision to allow this type of programming...unless you want to question the morality of "testing".

I worked at a local Ramada Inn for over a year, and I can tell you that the adult movies they showed were more explicit than some of the stuff you find on the net. We're talking leather and anal and worse, and this is a family hotel. I find the stuff on DTV fairly tame compared to the stuff that hotel showed.

Hey, now I'm not complaining at all. I think its friggin awesome. But in my area cable only shows the softcore stuff like on Skinamax. And its Spice pay-per-view too. Anyone know what laws were changed? Maybe I should just sit back and enjoy.

some cable services in selected areas hgave the hot network like on dtv, basicallt it is up to the cable people themselves as to what programming they'll take on there system, and ive been told that there still is sanction on very explicit stuff like anal and fetish stuff
