View Full Version : Where Would You Park Your Trailer?

Ok fellow Park Residents (and any wannabe's), If you could move your mobile castle(be it a true trailer, shack, camper, bus or what have you) anywhere in the world and you had unlimited funds to buy the spot and move it there, where would you want it to be? I have given this alot of thought and I just can't seem to make up my mind. I know it would be probably be in America but where. Having been to Ruidoso New Mexico and Colorado Springs Colorado, they are front contenders in my book. Having lived in Hawaii I wouldn't want it to be my permanent residence (be a nice place to park my pop-up camper though). I hear the Pacific Northwest is wonderful and has alot to offer. Let's hear it from yall.

How about blcjet's backyard?;)
Seriously, though, you just might be on to something with the Colorado idea. I love it up there, winter or summer, and I could picture myself living there.

lol.....hey Z one problem......wrong country! ;)
For me, it would have to be someplace warm......my only condition....oh wait, and it only snows from Dec 24-Jan 2, and then goes back up to 30 degrees C (which is 86 degrees F for all those who don't know the celcius system :D)

Rocketman, the pictures I have seen of New Zealand are awesome. Beautiful snow capped mountains, miles of beautiful green lowlands, more coastline than you can shake a stick at, Volcano's, hot springs. I plan on visiting there one day, but I don't think DTV's footprint extends that far south :(

If it were up to me, I'd quit my job, get in mah bus, grow my hair long, change my name to something earthy like "sunshine", and follow the lilith fair around north america, hooking up with every "earth chick" I could find...
but then again, maybe I'll just go to work tomorrow... oh, well.

Right next to the pool at the playboy mansion, I could sit on my lawn chair on the roof with a 12 of bud on ice and never worry about my card going down again.. Chances are my wife may have some issues with this though..

I would airlift my "palace" onto the roof of DirecTV's HQ in Los Angeles, right next to the ventilation intakes.
The smell would be sooo putride that no one one would be able to think about ECMs, much less even say the word. :Z

Hey everyone, please welcome my very good friend Jaybo. He and I used to work together before I quit my job. I hope that the trailer park manager can find him a spot for his trailer. He has been a paying member here for a while, just not posted much or in the dsschat forum.

A hardy welcome goes out to our newest Aluminum Clad Member…Jaybo…I would normally say you are in for a rare treat with the many demented minds that are within the walls of this Trailer Park…but since you are a friend of t_c…...maybe you had better consult with the resident lawn chair psychoanalysts. If that does not work, then speak with Al, everybody’s pal…his answer will depend on who he is that day;)
BTW Jaybo you can take a virtual tour of some of the residents that live in our Trailer Park here... (http://www.mytrailerpark.com/ )
