help "error 004"

just installed a dish 500 to get the 110 & 119, everything went well til i started to change the channels, i'm using a 4700 so i'm only have one side of each dual lnb ran to the multi switch and when i went to channel 4000 i got this "error 004" muti switch error. how do i get past this error and start watching t.v. agian?

Start by hooking up both sides and see what happens.

i get all the locals and other extras but when i go in the 4000's and 9000's it gives me the error, the only way i can get pass it is going to the guide and change the channel. is this common or is there a problem?
