I received this email a couple of days ago. I x'ed out the phone #. Does anyone know if this is really being done (bulletproof). If so why would anyone get free TV any other way? Of course most of those here at the den are not in it for the TV but the challenge.

Just wondering if anyone had info on this?

Unscrambling the digital signal has never been the problem...it has been finding a way to dispose of the "purchased" programming. After a while, the boxes get full and must be replaced. I heard recently that a company had designed a box that operates with the digital boxes that disposes of the programming and doesn't get full. These devices were 500.00. If this is the device I'm thinking of, sounds like a good deal.

Not much of a hobby in that though!

I don't believe that digital descrambling has been cracked yet. PM me with the company info and number and I will check them out for ya.

looked into it... the 2600 is an analog box...better known as the coolbox. from what i found it's not digital.

Thanks.

I'm not really into that, but I just didn't want someone else to get ripped off. For all those who want "cheap" tv, I guess thats the way to go.
