This DTC100 has been modded with an internal emulator IC.

IOW, you do not need the external emulator card, because there is the internally hardwired emulator chip mod, or you can ignore it and go ehead and use the socket card for whatever purpose you want.

I also did something real trick as well, I then proceeded to remove the connector socket for the factory modem 4 pin phone jack, and installed in its place a RJ11 size female jack.

This way, when emulating, the output from the com port of the computer is sent to the internally installed emulator chip and passes through the exact same location where the phone modem jack would be with a standard network cable thanks to the RJ11 female jack.

In fact, it looks so factory that most trained eyes can't spot it.

As well, I have also installed a factory reset switch on the back housing by means of a momentary push button switch. Very easy to perform a factory reset.

What firmware is it locked at?

Sold... I found a buyer who was interested in my unit. It was locked at 4.08 (which puts the DTC100 in the class of H card compatible, but no 900's) Locals do appear in the 000-099 range.

Oh well... I am looking for unmodded units. I like to mod them my way... I have the technical skills and am a perfectionist. I purchased the DTC that I sold, but it was modded, but not to my liking. Hence, I am looking to do it again and want to do it just like I modded the emulator chip, flawlessly.
