I would like to know if someone has Dave USA in Colombia or Venezuela. I know that some people has it, but i really dont know the recomemnded size and type for the antenna (Offset or prime Focus, for example) and the quantity of channels of dave that you can see (All or not all)
Thank you very much for your help,

Hi PassMaker...

You got PM !!! We'll make something up, but sure you can set up a DSS down there, it is only trickier, and bit more expensive.

See you soon.

That is impossible here in Mexico city you can only see 80% of the channels with a 1.80 dish. I have a 1.8m dish that I used to use for DAVE and only got 80% of the channels. Now I have a 2.4m dish and I have all the channels but only in the night and the morning. The rest of the day I lose channels on transponder 2.
In dish network you get 70% of the 119 channels with a 1.8 m dish

Hi there,

You are Inaccurate on that evalle, since I know and I have friends of mine that have all transponders all day long in Mexico city, it is kind of hard, you need at least a 3.8m PRIME FOCUS dish, with the lnd in the proper focal point, you indeed have them about 18% less gain, but there they are...

In Venezuela of course you can, but it will come with a price... If you make an array, OF COURSE YOU CAN !!!

If you're not using an original dish to get dave i mexico city then that may be the source of the problem, "home made" dishes are not 100% accurate with the focus and layout of the dish surface, but i know guys there in mexico city that get all channels most of the time with a 2.4 dish, in "Aguitas" i have a 1.8 original channel master antena and i get's 100% of the channels at all times.
Regards. saludos LARS !

I have aimed a friends channel master 1.8 m dish and he cannot receive transponder 2 at any time and only receives transponder 6 some of the time. I receive transponder 6 all the time and transponder 2 all the time. My Dish is a copy of a channel master 2.4m dish made by antenas.com.mx I know there should not be any links here but I think this is differente because there is no paid advertaiser selling something similar. This guy also makes the 3.8 m dish.
I also get 115% in some dish network transponders and 60% in others. with a 1.8m dish.
Can anyone confirm me that I can watch Bell Express Vu with a 1.8m dish??? I'm going to try soon.
My dishes are perfectly aimed.
