I have AT@T roadrunner service, pay top dollar, and internet service was down from fri nite, to sun nite.
What a pisser !

I have it also, it must have been a local problem. In the year I have had it, I have been extremely pleased. Still, I guess I should get net zero or something on my computer because occasionally even the best internet provider goes down. That is an awful long time to be down for sure though. I was down for over a day when we had local flooding,but that is to be expected.

Hmmm, I got one for ya...how about 300 or so acres surrounded by electric fence...when it rains an insulator shorts out and the fence goes to ground...the phone lines will work to talk on but as far as sending/receiving faxes or dialing up...forget about it...you can hear the fence going to ground on the both phone lines...

Well, at least the cows aren't the only ones not gettin out...

Sounds like a lot of fence to troubleshoot.

have you tried hooking modem dial out to electric fence...sounds crazy but hell i am crazy...

10,000 volts may not be enough. Increase the output, say 20,000 volts.

all you need to di is cover the 300 acres in concreet, use PVC fence poles and your phone should work ok..
let me know how that goes
