I'll try to explain this the best I can. I've installed 2 dishes, one at 101 and 119 both with dual head lnb's. I've got a plus receiver in the bedroom and 3'rd gen.in the living room. From the bedroom (plus receiver) ran a single RG-6 approx. 70 ft. to a 22 khz.(non self powered pv-22k) switch. Then about 6 ft. to the main Sat. and about 25 ft. to the 119 Sat. Ran 2 RG-6 lines from each dish to a manual A-B switch in the living room. They were around 50 - 60 ft. to the dishes. Checking diagrams at Geocities this should work. The one in the living room works great with around a 95 signal on both dishes. The plus was not working properly it seemed. Only could pick up the 101 Sat. The 119 Sat. would not come in or so I thought. I unhooked the cable at the 22K switch to the 101 and the plus started working properly. Hooked it back up and lose all signal to 119. 101 keeps working either way. I later found out that if I have the A-B switch in the living room on the 119 then it would come on in the bedroom. Flick the switch back to the other and the bedroom would freeze and go blank on the 119 Sat. channels. Strange huh? I then checked the signal strength on the plus receiver when all channels were coming in (switch in living room on B). 101 cut down to 60% and 119 at 90%. Flicked the switch back to A and the 101 goes up over 90% and 0% on the 119. Any suggestions why this is happening?
