I talked to my friend who works for the WWF and she told me that numerous restraunts and bars bought the 12 pay-per-views from Directv for 2001 and they may have to show them on channel 592 now she also told me that they may have a message on channel 101 WWF No Mercy will not be shown sorry for the inconvienece or some crap like that. This is ONLY a rumor as even she dosn't know. However if it is being shown to bars and restraunts on channel 592 you guys still may get it as only Directv subscribers will NOT be able to order the live even from St. Louis.

From WWF website

A message to loyal Federation fans and DirecTV subscribers

As you may be aware, the No Mercy pay-per-view this Sunday will NOT be available on DirecTV. After nearly 10 months of diligently trying to enter into a new agreement with DirecTV, our negotiations have come to a halt. We were disappointed that during this period DirecTV's offers were less desirable than our previous arrangement. We are doubly disappointed that this is resulting in inconvenience for our fans that are DirecTV subscribers.

While we hope that someday we will again be on DirecTV, it is now our sincere hope that you will look for alternative outlets to view World Wrestling Federation pay-per-views.

The No Mercy pay-per-view this Sunday is available on DISH Satellite and your local cable operator, and we encourage you to seek out these alternatives.

However, we know it is short notice to move to these systems by this Sunday. So we encourage you to consider watching No Mercy at Federation Blast Area locations. Click here for a list of those locations. Or arrange to watch No Mercy with a friend.

Better yet, if you live in the greater New York City metro area, we invite you to be a part of the event at WWF New York, our site-based entertainment complex, located at 43rd and Broadway in the heart of Times Square. Tickets are still available.
Bring in your DirecTV bill and get a $5 discount on your ticket.

We consider our fans to be the greatest in the world. We thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Sincerely,

The World Wrestling Federation

The World Wrestling Federation released that statement Friday on wwf.com to directv subscribers not to bars and restraunts that can order events well before they can be ordered by subscribers of directv.
