I have a problem with a oval setup, when I install the system in the 101 SAT I get 95 on signal metter, but on the 119 it don't have any signal at all. I have a oval disk with a 4x4 multiswitch, but my IRD is 5th generation not the PLUS, can some help me with this problem.
Thank's.

"but my IRD is 5th generation not the PLUS"
All 5th gen receivers are Plus receivers as far as I know.
What brand and model? Non-Plus receivers will get signal from the 101 sat only.

I am having close to the same issue and have even tried re-wiring and swapping LNB's. I have an oval dish, 2 X Dual LNB's, a channel master non-powered 4 X 4 multi-switch, a Sony SAT-W60 Ultimate receiver, and a RCA DRD420RE receiver.
On either receiver, either thru the switch or directly from the grounding block I can get a 95 signal on the 101 and a 20 signal (max) on the 119. I have tweaked the dish settings till I'm sore and this is the best I can get. Even tweaking for the 119 only still gets me a 20 and usually results in a lot less on the 101 at the same time.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Iv'e installed About 20 para todos systems. Never had much problem at all.
I use 2 single 18inch or the oval ones it dont matter to me.
You gotta make sure your ird has the option of selecting oval dish so you could check each sat individually.
Make sure the lnbs are hooked up were the should in the switch for the 22klz tone to switch.
If not do them indivially to make sure the 2 signals are good then hook up switch, Like i said not much problems but then again its probly luck

ok,,i somewhat understand...oh no i don't..i have "sat b in" 22KHz
13v 18v on one side and "sat a in" 13v 18v on the other...so
from the lnb which cable goes with which input...lnb isn't labeled as far as i can tell??

It doesn't matter which coax out of the Lnb is 13 or 18v. Just keep them paired into the multiswitch. Sat A is 101* , 2 feeds into multi switch from LNB "A". B is 119* with 2 feeds into multiswitch from LNB "B".
The 4 outputs can go to 4 ird's with both sat's combined on each output.
Good luck!!!

I am trying to set up an Oval dish in Vancouver BC. I have set the IRD to recieve 2 sat locations.
My 18" was working fine at 85 but now I cannot even get a signal at all, from either 101 or 119 on the oval. Do you know if the dish must be pointing more South because of 119? Anyways, I am going to set back up my 18" for now. Geeeeez, the Oval cost me big bucks, shoulda done my homework before I bought it LOL
Thanks all,
