Here's the deal and I hope someone can help me with some connection type questions.

Equipment: Sony Dual LNB dish, A4D Sony Receiver, RCA Slave Receiver, Sony/RCA/JVC Tv's, X10 Video Sender.

Current Setup: Sony hooked up to Sony TV using SVIDEO. RCA Slave hooked up to RCA TV.

Want: Feed from Sony to JFV via X10 Video Sender to JVC TV in upstairs bedroom. Mission accomplished. One slight problem, see below.

Problem: Sony Receiver is hooked to TV using S-VIDEO. Output from TV to X10 Video Sender does not have S-VIDEO.

As a result, I've had to hooke up my sony receiver to the tv in Video 1 with standard jacks without S-VIDEO in order to get the signal to the video sender.

Wish List: Want to be able to hook up sony receiver to TV with s-video and still be able to hooke up standard jacks to x10 video sender.

Anyone can help?

I'm not sure I follow your description.

I think I understand that you'd like to connect to the (local) TV with S-Video, and also connect to the X10 sender with S-Video....

You may as well just connect the RCA video out(from the IRD) to the sender, the MOD/DEMOD used by the X10 is not going to give you any more video resolution in SVid than it is from the RCA video jack.

Save the better signal for the local TV where you are more likely to see it.

If you are looking for another set of audio out's to feed to the X-10 unit. Radio Schack makes a Video/audio Distribution amp. This will give you the much needed audio outputs, without having to turn the tv on. You can use the
S video and the rca video out of the sat recevier at the same time. The unit run's about $30
