Heard from news reports that DTV raided channel master (mfg of dish antennas). Present were several IRS agents and US Marshals. Search warrant allowed them to confiscate all dishes in the warehouse. Spokesman for DTV said that these dishes could be used illegally to hack DTV signals. Several employees leaving the building noted that Helicopters were circling the building and National guard troops were on standby. However, DTV spokesman said this was only a precaution.

That is the craziest thing I have ever heard. DO you have a link to this? Good way to eliminate your competition. This makes no sense.

This is the "new" America. Just want until Dave hears that you are recording his signal, for viewing at a later date. Oh, let's not forget, Don't split that signal with two TV's.

The Army, Navy, Air Force, FBI, Marshalls, and DEA will be at your door. Even the Homeland Security Police (HSP) will be there knocking too.

Oh, did I mention, They gonna start charging us for rain water that falls on your property? And if you capture any for your lawn or plants, they will show up saying you are violating some Federal Watering Ban.

Don't laugh...yet.

We are closer to bullsh*ting laws, than you think.

Taxing your dreams will be in your future too.

Where did you 'heard' this from? National Enquirer?

I got the scoop on this story.. I have a friend who works at Channel Master in NC.. I called him up and he said, " What?? Never heard of it." I think he would know as he is CFO. So this is a BS story if i ever heard of one.

That's probably because he was served with a gag order accoording to my FBI sources. I hear the prices of dishes are skyrocking. He also probably knows DTV has his phones tapped and are following his kids around so they know how and when to confiscate their laptops like they did to shanty. If i was you I would be careful as they (DTV) may trace that call back to you.

Doesn't Channel Master make some components for 'Dave'? Sounds like they're trying to get some free stuff so they have more $$$$ to hassle us. Hummm ... I can just read the headlines now .... 'Dave' raids 'Dave' for illegal possession of illegally aquired components which may be used to interecpt their signal .... A Catch 22^3 if I ever heard of one.

Well,

Now it is the time for Belden and Iusa, well known cable manufacturers that produced RG6 cable, and DTV struck them
with a lawsuit stating that "this cable might be used to
steal their signal", So this companies wotn be producing
anykind of the "so called COAX" cable".

Does this sound true ??? HAHAHA

HELL NO !!!

Did anyone smell BS ???

Under the terms of the agreement, Channel Master will manufacture and sell a selection of DIRECTV-approved satellite antenna systems and products directly to the retailer. icu###,

It is your thread and you can go to the bottom and close it yourself.

I think it was funny. Got people to thinking and caused those too serious to remember this is the BS forum.

For anyone that forgot, this is the BS forum and it is the last place you should look for or post serious subject matter.

For a newby, icu### figured that out pretty quick. good job.
