I am in the great white north and have just installed a 36" dish. Was using a 18" but only got half the channels. This is the 5th time I install a dish and feel as though all is good. Level mount etc...

I think my problem is that I only mounted the sony lnb in the arm of the "starchoice" 36" dish and as such it may be too low from centre for the signal. Am I right? Is there a bracket I can acquire to fix this? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

pleaseandthanks

yes there is a bracket you put in the arm .they usually come with the dish to mount the starchoice lnb. there black i believe. you have to build the center up to mount your lnb. make sure it is centerd, and closest to the dish. this works normal lnb's not sure if sony is shaped diferent.hope this helps.

Well I tried for 3 hours last night to get it to work, finally gave up and put the 18" back on. Only get about 50% of the channels this far up North but its better than nothing. If only they would stop zapping the card I would be a happy camper!!!!

Thanks for all the help.
