View Full Version : What is your favorite thing about the BS Forum? 2

I'm gonna try this one more time.

My favorite thing about the BS forum is how a thread can do a complete 180 off of the subject of the original post and continue for days (sometimes only hours).

It competes with the P3 forum, as far as getting threads closed.:(

How bad this place be if "The Westerner" can come back after all her encounters with Muggles. "I" like I have always said - a moth to a flame - but keep up the new personna; I can see you thumbing through all those Louis Lamour books to get new material.

There are a lot of great Mimes here, but that greatness doen's translate into a written media. :Z

The Westerner is not Iryland. She would have never liked Gary Cooper and his movies. It is not Cerberus, because the theme is prior to Pink Floyd. It isn't me, because I am not that creative.

My favorite thing is that almost everything is there, but almost nobody wants to search for it, there are same questions with lot of forms to ask for it..

The sharing with folks that felt like family and/or friends... All the laughs... How we helped each other when there was tv issues and sometimes personal ones...

I like all the friendly folks here! Great place to go for a laugh and crownvic keeps me up to date on the boxing world. I also liked making money by betting on the guy he says is gonna lose, except he has been more accurate lately. Might have to start betting WITH crownvic's recommendations if he keeps this up. :D

I like the fact that the same thread topic can be reopened
by simply starting a new one that is about the same topic. Has
anyone heard from The Westerner lately? He/She could sure liven things up a bit in here. LOL!!! :D

You know it's funny....after all that has been going on lately it is very easy to loose sight of what's really important.

Yesterday, I got a phone call telling me my uncle had passed away very suddenly.....after trying to let this sink in, I've been thinking about what really matters. Friendship is what really is important and I want to continue to have that with all of my friends here at the park. No matter what has ever happened here in our ups and downs we have always managed to pull through triumphant, and I hope we are always able to do that. That is what has made our little "group" different from so many others out there....we truely care. That is my favorite thing about the park.

Thanks to all my friends here...you know who you are!

Hey guys...thanks for the support, it is appreciated.

In the end though I was planning on saying nothing as we all go through times of loss, but when push came to shove this wasn't about sympathy, it was about how I continually learn about life and what is really important.....and I find the friendships that I have gained here to be very important...and that came to the beginning of the thread, what we like most about the BS forum....

and it really is this (at least to me...)

It was the ability to gain friends that I never would have met if it hadn't been for a small forum mixed in with something completely different from everything else.....we have laughed, cried, been support for eachother, and been friends. I can honestly say that there are many that I would call good friends even though I have never seen thier faces, many that in a heartbeat I would stand up fighting for, and many that have made an impact in my life....that to me is what the BS forum has stood for....JMHO so take it for what it's worth.....:D

Hi blcjet,

I'm sorry for your loss. I know you said you weren't going to mention it, but I'm glad you did. I hope it made you feel better being able to share with us. If there is anything I can do let me know. Like you said, Life is Short! I know I treasure my friends here at the den.

Take care,

It's like on big family in here. You people are my brothers and sisters as far as I'm concerned. Everybody tries to give the best advice they can to whoever needs it. This is what a chat room should be like. It's very relaxed and no pressure. Sure there's some clowning going on,but whats wrong with a little humor? A little humor never hurt anybody.
