SATELLITE REACTS TO MUST-CARRY LOSS
DIRECTV PLANS CARD SWAP IN FIRST QUARTER
This is from today's satbiznews.com. Does this mean that everybody's card will be swapped for a new type of card, or just that subs who still have the old H cards will have to swap them for the newer HU cards?

More Bull----?

I went to that site also, I had to get out my secret decoder glasses to deaux the headlines to read that story. Once I loaded the article into my programmer I could see that they were serious about the swap. My only choice now is to get my HU EMULATOR OUT of the closet as soon as the aliens are done dissecting this latest technology because on mars their not equiped to handle the latest. I will now beam this message to PGM to release the secrect code on his decoder ring. STANDYBY for further updates!!

On Mars they have far more time to work on the solution than we do. It takes the signal longer to get there.

If they are reporting a card swap when the sale of DTV isn't even final or gotten approval, and the possible owners may be uncertain of which equipment they will use (Dish or DTV)..........

I would slide them into the "unreliable" column ;)

Even if there was one, it would be a year before they disabled the H's.
