Some UHF receivers have adjustable UHF power levels. The factory default is set low so as to minimize interference with other Echostar receivers. To increase the gain, follow the instructions below:

1. Go to SYSTEM INFO screen (one with receiver and card IDs). Menu, 6, 1, 3.
2. Cover the IR emitters on the front of the remote (if equipped).
3. Go to the limit of remote control range and press BROWSE, THEME, then RECORD
