Default Dish Network receiver reset procedure

If you have altered your receivers settings or it is not acting properly anymore, you can perform a hard reset which will reset the receiver to its factory defaults and also force it to re-download the receiver software from the satellite.

Reset Procedure:

1. Turn on the receiver
2. On the remote, press MENU then 6 and then 1
3. On the remote, press the following sequence: INFO then BROWSE then THEME
4. Press the TV/VIDEO button, and then the ird's Front power button
5. The receiver will reboot, flush its memory and redownload its software
6. Now your receiver is RESET to Factory defaults

Please help -

1. I had tried the above procedure, but the receiver still not getting reset, in fact on system info page still showing DP44 not as current DP34 and still show pointing to sat 119, 118, 110 & 61 which is not corrected since I don't have sat 61 anymore. (I also tried: manu>6>1>6 but still unable to save the "reset to factory default"

2. on the system info/tech assistance page still showing the old resaler's phone number. BTW, how do we set up and replace it with a tech support phone number and email address?

Thanks for your help.
